Some people have a fear of baking. Everyone will try baking cookies, but when it comes baking breads, people for some reason get scared. If you never tried baking bread before, this is the perfect place to start. There is no yeast involved. This bread is really not much different than making cookies really. If you do bake bread, this flatbread is a gem and you should add this recipe to your book. It's quick, easy and can be thrown together in no time.
For years, I would pretty much exclusively use this bread for serving with dips, but after recently making this recipe I had some bread left over and decided to make a flat bread pizza, and it was nothing short of sensational! Instead of buying a loaf of pita next time you are putting some dips on your table, bake this bread and serve it with hummus, baba ganoush, any kind of dip you can think of. Next time you are craving some pizza, throw this together quickly and you'll have a flat bread pizza that any restaurant would be proud to serve.

INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp white sugar
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup water
1 egg white
2 tbsp melted butter
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and salt. Then add water, 1 egg white, and butter. Mix well and make a stiff, yet moist dough. Knead until smooth (3-5 mins)
Divide dough into about 10 balls.
Roll each ball with a floured rolling pin (coating your rolling pin with flour will prevent the dough from sticking to it) to about a 1/8 inch thick on a floured surface. Place the flatten dough on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 400 for about 5-6 mins. Then flip the bread and bake for another 4-5 mins or until lightly browned.
Tip - Rolling the dough thinner will give you a crispier bread, almost like a cracker.
Had some friends over tonight and whipped up a batch of these real quick. They were easy and delicious, a total hit! Keep up the posts. I'm highly enjoying them!!
